Afrobeats superstar Davido Adeleke has escalated his online feud with Warri-born rapper Erigga after releasing a series of posts directed at critics discrediting his hard work due to his wealthy background.
The exchange began when Erigga posted a message on X praising musicians who achieved success without financial backing from their families, writing, “Shoutout to all the musicians who don't come from family money and had to grind for every single dollar they earn”.

Viewing the post as a targeted jab at artists born into privilege, Davido swiftly fired back, branding the message as “useless motivation” and asserting that musicians from wealthy families also work tirelessly to reach the top.
