“Give Regina Breathing Space” — Senator Ned Nwoko Intervenes, Threatens Legal Action

Nigerian lawmaker and billionaire businessman Senator Ned Nwoko has issued a stern public appeal and legal warning regarding the relentless online scrutiny directed at his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, demanding an immediate halt to malicious rumours and fabricated reports.
In an official statement released across his social media channels, Senator Nwoko expressed deep concern over the toxic wave of digital commentary, which recently included distressing fake news, misleading health claims, and fabricated death announcements.

Stressing that the actress has faced significant personal and health challenges—a glimpse of which she recently shared around her birthday—he urged fans, bloggers, and commentators to prioritize empathy over sensationalism.

“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina's fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space... We are documenting these publications, and anyone found responsible will be held accountable through the appropriate legal channels.”
