First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Confirms SUV Donations to APC Youth Leaders, Urges Focus on Grassroots Results

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has confirmed donating a fleet of new 2026 Toyota Prado SUVs and additional utility operational vehicles to the National Youth Wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to bolster grassroots mobilization ahead of the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Speaking during an engagement with APC youth wing executives in Abuja, Mrs. Tinubu acknowledged providing the luxury vehicles and campaign logistics to facilitate the movement and field operations of youth organizers across the country. Addressing the youth leaders, she charged them to intensify direct voter engagement and focus on delivering tangible door-to-door results rather than relying primarily on social media publicity, emphasizing the need for young political actors to develop self-reliance and strategic independence.
“All support groups, including PBAT, Door to Door, City Boy, and Tinubu Again, are expected to work directly with the APC... Young leaders must be independent, versatile, and committed to driving real grassroots impact rather than waiting on others for direction.”
