Billionaire businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has reportedly unfollowed comedian and singer Carter Efe on Instagram. The falling out follows reports that the brand-new luxury vehicle E-Money recently gifted the "Machala" crooner was involved in a significant accident shortly after it was handed over. On Sunday, February 22, 2026, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Five Star Music boss had removed Carter Efe from his "following" list, a move often seen as the ultimate sign of a severed relationship in the digital age.
Carter Efe, who rose to fame through his viral skits and obsession with Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, has been at the center of several social media storms in the past, but this latest development with E-Money appears to be more personal. Sources close to the situation suggest that E-Money views the damage to the car as a sign of disrespect toward the effort and resources put into the gift.
Whether this is a temporary rift or a permanent end to their association remains to be seen, but for now, the "Machala" star seems to have lost a powerful ally in the Five Star boss.
Is E-Money being too harsh by unfollowing Carter Efe over an accident, or is his reaction a justified response to a lack of care? Share your comments below!
