Former Vice‑President Atiku Abubakar has strongly condemned recent attacks in parts of Adamawa State, describing the violence as unacceptable and urging the Federal Government to take urgent action to protect lives and property.
In a statement issued, Atiku expressed deep concern over the security situation, particularly in areas affected by the attacks, and called on security agencies to mount a robust response to prevent further loss of life and displacement of residents.
Atiku said the incidents shows the need for improved intelligence gathering, better logistics for security forces and community‑based approaches to confront the threats facing communities in the North‑East region.
He also urged elected officials and political leaders to set aside partisan interests and support actions that would enhance security and stability across the state.
