WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY

Good Life Part 1
In John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Jesus came that we could enjoy the life of God to its fullest measure even to the overflowing point.
Everything God has done has been to the excess because of His nature. He is the God who is more than enough. Gen 17:1 reveals He is El Shaddai, the God of plenty. He is more than sufficient in all areas.
The day you became a believer you were connected to God as a son or daughter. He is your Father. Whatever the Father has that you need He is more than willing to supply to you. Paul saw this and wrote in Phil 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” He explained it further in Eph 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”
The scripture says that the Father’s will is to provide all we would need. He revealed Himself to Abraham as Jehovah Jireh – God who sees ahead and make provision. Later, David wrote in Psalm 23 that if the Lord is our Shepherd we would not lack for anything. Jesus declared Himself to be the good Shepherd.
Honour and I pray you will see Jesus as He is: “The lover of your soul.” Let Him fill you with all hope, with faith trusting in His goodness to supply everything you need. As you begin to expect Him to supply for you, He will not fail you and your household. Pursue Him for He cares.
