WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY

Refreshing: A Daily Devotional Manual
There is no doubt that we are wired to influence our community positively. We are the light of the world and we are fashioned to shine. We have no excuses for not shinning. We are called to make a difference in the world of duplicates. How do we evangelise the people we don't love or show love? It is almost impossible to influence people afar off. It is not enough for us to say: I love God, but I do not love my neighbour. John says you are a liar if you say you love God and you don't love your neighbour. How can you love God whom you do not see, if you do not love your neighbour whom you see, whom you touch, with whom you live?
To show great love for God and our neighbours we need not do great things. It is bow much love we put in the doing that makes our offering something beautiful for God. My prayer for you is that you may grow in the likeness of Christ, being real carriers of God's love and that you really bring his presence, first, into your own family, then, to the next door neighbour, the street you we live in, the town we live in, the country we live, then only, in the whole world, that living example of God's presence. Mother Teresa
As Christians we have a lot to offer. Do not be shy rather be proud of who you are and what you have: You have Jesus the MESSIAH. Show case Him first to your family, then your neighbour, then your community and then to the world. When your friends comes around just be you. don't put on a show. Be edifying. Love one another. They will see something noticeably different from what they're used to They'll witness a heavenly love. The underlying message of the Neighbourhood is that if somebody cares about you, it's possible that you'll care about others. 'You are special, and so is your neighbour' that part is essential: that you're not the only special person in the world. The person you happen to be with at the moment is loved, too; so go all out to demonstrate this love.
