Love At All Cost – Part II

Love is so powerful. Love cannot be destroyed. Love always wins. Where love is absent disaster is already in existence. Love has the capacity to grow but the love of God is immeasurable and unimaginable. God’s love is excellent; it cannot be added to; it is unique and supernatural.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10. God is love. Love is God. They are one and the same. It is not possible for a man to know true love until he knows God. God’s very character is limitless. He is eternal and His wisdom, power and love have no limit. Our purpose is to receive His love for us, allowing it to break our hearts, and result in true worship to Him.

His love has no conditions. We do not have to do anything to earn it. His love for us is free of charge (FOC). It is true that every sin deserves death but Jesus took the punishment for these sins on the Cross for us. This New Year is another opportunity for you to embrace the love of God and stop beating yourself up because of the mistakes of the past.

Not accepting the love of God for your life will make it difficult to love your neighbour since you cannot give to another what you do not have. Start loving yourself today by accepting the fact that you are the apple of His eyes. He cares so much for you. Show love to other people around you. Forgive those who wronged you. Stop keeping malice. Don’t be bitter. Don’t be angry. Anger is only one letter short of danger. An angry man is a dangerous man. Change today.
