Better days ahead Part 2

When it rains, it pours. But soon, the sun shines again. Be confident. Better days are on their way. Do not despair. Do not quit. Do not fold your arms. Do not allow procrastination to rob you of your destiny, do what you have to do NOW as God does not promise us TOMORROW.

We are so excited and looking forward to the New Year. How about you? Better days are coming. You have been through a lot in this outgoing year but thank God that is not the end of the story because it is now time for you to shine as we cross over into the New Year; the New Year has been delivered into your hands, make a success of it. You are wired for success hence you possess the capacity to succeed in life.

The New Year is waiting eagerly to receive you and everything you need to live comfortably has been provided for you but you must learn to trust God to perfect that which He has began. God is ever faithful and He will not put you to shame. You can choose to be in good health, choose to be super rich or super poor. You can choose to live a fulfilled life, or choose to live a wasted life. The choice is yours. Now, your friends may hold a contrary opinion, it will not change God’s divine calling upon your life. For I am the Lord, I change not; Malachi 3:6

You must see yourself the way God sees you. When God looked at Jacob, He saw Israel meaning Prince, not a supplanter or a cheat. When He looked at Simon, (unstable), He saw Peter (stone) in him. What you see determines how far you will go in the New Year. Do not forget that what you see is what possesses you and that is what you will become. Hope in the face of difficulty. Hope in the face of uncertainty. The audacity of hope! In the end, that is God’s greatest gift to us … A belief in things not seen. A belief that there are better days ahead. Barack Obama
