WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY
Omoyeni Olabode

Wrestle it to the ground Part 6
Do not let your CONCERNS become your CARES, and your FORETHOUGHTS become your FEAR THOUGHTS.
There is no need to get worried about anything and that does not imply that you do not care about what is going on in your surroundings. You must put a Lid on Your Worrying.
Sometimes we stress endlessly about negative experiences when just walking away from them would serve us far better. You must refuse to be stressed out because you are the one in control.
Worrying about that which has already happened is like trying to saw sawdust. Worrying about the past is like trying to put toothpaste back into the tube. Past deeds cannot be undone or past words unsaid.
LET THE TROUBLES OF THE PAST REST. Steve Adewole
Isaiah 43:18-19: Do not earnestly remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
In case the past involves sin, obey the conditions of pardon and God will abundantly forgive.
Isaiah 55:6-7: Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Lloyd George, former Prime Minister of England, once said, “I have made it a practice of my life always to close the gate behind me.” And that is what we need to do with things that have already happened.
