WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY
Omoyeni Olabode

Whenever God restores something, He restores it to a place greater than it was before
It is imperative to give God thanks acknowledging the good things He is doing in our lives. Because of Jesus we have a reason to rejoice.
One of the greatest revelations in God’s Word is restoration. God can and will make a way for you to get back what the devil has stolen. The very word redemption implies recovering people who lost their way and got separated from God. The Word of God is all about restoration.
Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. Many a times satan comes with condemnation to get people discouraged about ever experiencing any restoration. If you are struggling with guilt or remorse over your personal failure, remember that God has made provision for our forgiveness. I John 1:9 - if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Don’t forget that God looks at us through the blood of His Son Jesus. If we are saved and cleansed of all sins, then we have every right to boldly claim all that God has provided through the suffering and resurrection of Jesus. God does not take pleasure in seeing you and your loved ones suffer. He delights in showing mercy. Jesus suffered to restore what you lost. His plan from the beginning was to help you get it back.
Our Father told the children of Israel in Joel 2:25-26 – And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
Wise Saying
When you repent and operate on God's standards, now you have restoration and reconciliation
