We’ve Delivered Over 500 Health Projects in Two Years – Health Minister

The Minister of Health, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, has announced that over 500 health-related projects have been completed under President Bola Tinubu’s administration in just two years. He also confirmed the successful commissioning of three world-class cancer centres, aimed at significantly improving cancer diagnosis and treatment across Nigeria.
Speaking during a recent press briefing, the minister highlighted the government's ongoing efforts to strengthen the health sector. He explained that the projects span primary healthcare facilities, specialist hospitals, and research institutions, all geared toward achieving improved medical access and outcomes for Nigerians. According to him, the newly commissioned cancer centres are already operational and were designed to meet global standards in oncology services.
The minister reiterated the Tinubu administration’s commitment to revamping the health sector and making quality healthcare accessible to all citizens. He added that more facilities are under construction, with the government’s long-term goal focused on disease prevention, medical education, and efficient service delivery.
