2025 US Open Final, Trump

The much-anticipated US Open men's final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner was delayed by approximately 30 minutes as heightened security measures were implemented following the arrival of President Donald Trump at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.

The match, originally scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m. ET, was pushed back to 2:30 p.m. ET to allow time for fan screening and seating, with some spectators still not through security by tip-off.

Trump, attending as a guest of tournament sponsor Rolex, drew a mixed response from the crowd. Echoes of cheers and boos resonated inside the stadium. Broadcasters were reportedly instructed not to highlight any disruptions linked to his presence.
