UK Coroner Rules Cosmetic Procedure Caused Death of Davido’s Friend Ego ‘Tiny’

More details have emerged regarding the tragic passing of 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman, socialite, and close associate of Afrobeats superstar Davido, Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo (popularly known as Ego), following an official coroner’s inquest in the United Kingdom.

According to findings presented at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Ubiribo passed away in Bangkok, Thailand, after undergoing a cosmetic penile enlargement procedure where he was injected with 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine at an unnamed clinic. While on vacation with his wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen, Ubiribo began experiencing severe chest pain and collapsed during a post-procedure massage.
