A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered that TikToker Shaheed Osama and another individual, Uyime Udoekwere, be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre. The two were arraigned on allegations of publishing libellous content targeting Mrs. Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

According to court proceedings, the defendants were accused of using social media to circulate damaging statements against Omowunmi, which prosecutors described as false and malicious. The controversial videos and posts, widely shared online, prompted legal action after complaints were filed regarding their potential to incite public tension and tarnish reputations.

Both Osama and Udoekwere pleaded not guilty to the charges. The judge ordered their remand and adjourned the matter, with a new date set for the continuation of the trial.
