The Choice Before the Crowd

Pontius pilate

In a pivotal moment recorded in the Gospels, Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor, presented a choice to the people of Jerusalem: whom should he release—Jesus of Nazareth or Barabbas, a known criminal? In keeping with the Passover custom of releasing a prisoner, Pilate gave the crowd a voice in the matter. Despite finding no fault in Jesus, the crowd, stirred by the religious leaders, called for Barabbas to be freed. This decision would set in motion the events leading to the crucifixion, marking a profound turning point in Christian history.

And 200years later, people are still choosing the thieves “if you know them put it in the comment section “ 😉
