Controversial singer Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington, is demanding a rematch after being knocked out by fellow artist Badmus Okikiola, aka Portable, in a celebrity boxing match titled "Chaos In The Ring", held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos on Saturday morning.

The highly anticipated bout ended in the second round with Portable securing a decisive victory. The clash came after rising tensions between the two entertainers, sparked by Speed Darlington’s ₦500,000 performance offer—an amount Portable publicly mocked as disrespectful.

Still nursing the sting of defeat, Speed Darlington took to social media to express his frustration and challenge Portable to a rematch.

Portable, I want a rematch. It pains me that you’re walking away with all that money. It breaks my heart. You don’t deserve it. I need that money to build a swimming pool for my villagers in Imo State,” he said.

He continued by insisting that Portable had more ring experience, which gave him an unfair advantage.

You’ve been in the ring before—I haven’t. I didn’t come from poverty like you. Give me at least 30 days to prepare properly.

Speed Darlington also revived claims that Portable may have used voodoo to win the match, suggesting supernatural influence played a role in the outcome. He alleged that his shoulder was dislocated during the fight, even though he wasn't physically exhausted.

Despite the defeat, the drama between the two artists appears far from over—and fans may yet get the rematch Speed Darlington is so eager for.
