"Someone Put Me on ₦1M Weekly Salary" – Nkechi Blessing Reveals in Interview with Bae U

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has opened up about stepping away from acting after receiving a surprising financial offer from an anonymous individual. Speaking during an interview with comedian Bae U, she said, “I just got a message from somebody saying, ‘I don’t want you to act anymore. What’s your account number?’ and he started paying me ₦1 million every week.”

Nkechi said the payments have been coming for three years now, and the person never asked for anything in return.

She made it clear she won’t be revealing the identity of the person, but emphasized that she was never involved in any shady dealings. The actress said the offer came at a time when acting wasn’t financially rewarding for her, and the support gave her freedom to pause her movie career without regrets.
