Rep. Abubakar Bichi Sponsors Tuition for 121 Postgraduate Students

Rep. Abubakar Bichi, who represents the Federal Constituency of Bichi in Kano State, has covered the tuition fees of 121 postgraduate students pursuing Master's and PhD degrees. The beneficiaries, drawn from various universities across Nigeria, were selected based on academic merit and financial need as part of his continuous effort to promote education in his constituency.
Bichi, who chairs the House Committee on Appropriations, made the payment through a direct scholarship scheme aimed at reducing the burden on struggling families. He stated that education remains one of his key priorities and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting young Nigerians in their academic pursuits. According to his office, the initiative is part of a broader plan to empower youths through access to higher education and skill development.
