"Power Without the Palace": Chimsom Wins BBNaija Season 11's First HoH Title, But Misses Out on Luxury Lounge

The game is officially underway inside Biggie’s house! Anambra-born pharmacist and actor Chimsom Chuka has emerged as the very first Head of House (HoH) for Big Brother Naija Season 11 ("Show Ya Sef"), securing crucial immunity from the season's inaugural eviction.

However, Biggie quickly proved that this season will be full of surprises by immediately stripping the HoH title of one of its most coveted perks.

The men competed first, with Chimsom setting a blistering pace of 2 minutes and 8 seconds. Osun State chef and model Abi clocked the fastest time among the ladies, finishing second overall to be named the season's first Deputy Head of House.

No one managed to beat Chimsom’s record time, handing him the victory and early safety from nomination night.

In previous seasons, winning Head of House guaranteed exclusive access to the luxurious HoH bedroom suite. This year, Biggie introduced a game-changing Lucky Dip Box rule:

1. The Random Selection: Instead of moving in himself, Chimsom was forced to draw a name from the lucky dip box to determine who would occupy the HoH lounge.
2. The Lucky Beneficiary: Chimsom pulled Tram's name, handing him full control of the suite.
3. The Guest: Tram was permitted to invite one housemate to share the luxury quarters with him, choosing Sheba as his roommate for the week.

While Chimsom retains total immunity and leadership authority, Tram and Sheba get to enjoy the resort-style comforts of the HoH suite without having won the challenge.
