Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne is said to be recovering after collapsing at his home earlier this week. The 57-year-old was reportedly found unresponsive and was quickly attended to by emergency services, who transported him to a nearby hospital for evaluation and care.
Medical sources indicate that Gascoigne is now in stable condition and responding to treatment. Though the exact cause of the collapse has not been publicly disclosed, those close to the former midfielder have stated that he is conscious and in good spirits. They added that he is expected to remain under observation as a precautionary measure.
Gascoigne, affectionately known as "Gazza," has long struggled with health issues and well-documented battles with alcohol dependency. Despite past setbacks, he has recently shown signs of improvement and has made multiple public appearances in recent months.
