Oluremi Tinubu Urges Nigerians to Mark Her 65th Birthday with Library Donations

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has made a heartfelt appeal to well-wishers to convert birthday gifts and greetings into donations for the completion of the National Library project.
In a video message, she revealed that she will mark her 65th birthday on Sunday, 21 September 2025 with solemnity and reflection rather than a lavish celebration.
“As the special gifts of cards, cakes, flowers, newspaper greetings, or presents are kindly considered,” she suggested, “I invite donations to the designated account under the ‘Oluremi at 65 Education Fund’ for this meaningful cause.”
The First Lady also emphasised the spiritual tone of the occasion, explaining she will devote the day to God in gratitude for His blessings in her life.
To ensure contributions reach the intended project, her spokesperson Bukola Kukoyi issued a caution to the public to disregard any unauthorised account information.
