As Christians across Nigeria celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has urged the nation to embrace the core values of love, sacrifice, and unity that Easter represents.

In a heartfelt message shared via her official X handle on Saturday, April 19, the First Lady joined the Christian faithful in commemorating the season and encouraged all Nigerians—regardless of faith—to reflect on its deeper meaning.

“I join Christians across our beloved nation to celebrate Easter. I also extend my heartfelt wishes for a joyous and peaceful occasion,” she wrote.

Senator Tinubu reminded the nation that Easter is more than a celebration—it is a powerful reminder of hope through sacrifice, inspired by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“Easter is a reminder of the enduring power of love and the selfless sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the hope His resurrection brings to all humanity.”

She emphasized the importance of community support and encouraged Nigerians to reach out, especially to those in need.
