Nollywood actress and producer Regina Daniels marked her 25th birthday on Saturday, October 10, 2026, by revealing that she has been quietly battling severe medical issues and mobility challenges that have left her dependent on a wheelchair for months.
Addressing her fans in an emotional video shared on social media while holding her birthday cake, the actress described her "Silver Jubilee" milestone as a period of profound reflection and prayer for divine healing. Daniels explained that her long absence from the public eye was caused by a minor health issue that rapidly escalated following her Children’s Day carnival event, leading to debilitating pain and loss of independent mobility.
“I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair. Well, welcome to another chapter of my life... For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this. The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I can walk, and sometimes I can't move. I cried.”

Despite the severe physical and emotional toll, Daniels expressed optimism and gratitude to God, noting that recent encouraging progress in her medical recovery gave her the strength to finally speak out publicly.
