“Nigerians Must Go” – Ghanaians Protest Alleged Prostitution, Ritual Killings
Omoyeni Olabode

Tensions flared in parts of Ghana as angry residents staged protests demanding the expulsion of Nigerians from their communities over rising claims of prostitution and ritual killings allegedly involving some Nigerian nationals. Chanting "Nigerians must go," the protesters accused foreigners of worsening local insecurity and contributing to a growing moral decline.
The demonstrations, which took place in areas like Kasoa and Accra, saw placards and loud calls for the government to take swift action. Some community leaders claimed that law enforcement has not done enough to address the surge in reported criminal activities, many of which they believe are being fueled by foreign influence.
Ghanaian authorities have yet to release an official statement, but police have increased presence in affected areas to prevent escalation and maintain peace.
