Multiple People Airlifted After Skydiving Plane Crashes in Tennessee

A De Havilland DH-6 Twin Otter skydiving plane carrying 20 individuals, including crew members, crashed shortly after takeoff from Tullahoma Regional Airport in Coffee County, Tennessee, approximately 60 miles south of Nashville. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. local time on June 8, 2025. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. However, several passengers sustained injuries. Three individuals were airlifted to local hospitals, one with serious injuries, while others were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The crash did not cause any damage to airport or ground facilities. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the cause of the crash.

Emergency responders and local authorities quickly secured the crash site, working tirelessly to ensure the safety of all involved and to assist with medical evacuations. Community members have since rallied to support the injured passengers and their families, offering prayers and aid. Officials have urged the public to avoid the area to allow uninterrupted access for rescue and investigation teams, emphasizing that the priority remains the well-being of those affected and uncovering the cause of the accident.
