Makinde Gifts SUV to Ayefele Following Fresh FM Inferno

In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has presented gospel singer and media mogul Dr Yinka Ayefele with a brand-new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The gift comes in the wake of a devastating fire that severely damaged portions of Ayefele’s Fresh FM headquarters in Ibadan last Friday.

The keys to the SUV were formally handed over by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Otunba Ademola Ojo, during a visit to the Ayefele Music House in Challenge, Ibadan on Tuesday.

In his remarks, Makinde praised Ayefele as “a symbol of perseverance and inspiration to millions of Nigerians.” He extended the gift on behalf of both himself and the State Government, offering condolences and practical support during Ayefele’s challenging time.

Ayefele, visibly moved by the gesture, expressed profound gratitude for the governor’s timely show of support amid the difficult ordeal.

This follows Governor Makinde’s visit to the affected Fresh FM building shortly after the inferno, where he pledged state assistance in reconstruction efforts and assured that the station would not remain off-air for long.
