Lady Stabs Boyfriend to Death After Infidelity Dispute in Ondo

A tragic incident that unfolded over the weekend in Okitipupa, Ondo State, has left the community in shock. A 25-year-old man, Michael Ikuedowoni, was fatally stabbed by his girlfriend, Augustina Mowari, during a heated argument over accusations of infidelity. The couple, who lived together in a one-room apartment, had reportedly been embroiled in frequent disputes before the fatal confrontation .

The argument escalated after Mowari accused Michael of cheating with another woman, and in a moment of intensity, she allegedly grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the leg. Michael was rushed to a nearby hospital and received initial treatment. However, his condition worsened after returning home—his leg became swollen, and he was hurried back to the hospital on Sunday night, where he eventually died despite medical efforts.

The police in Ondo State have confirmed Mowari’s arrest. The case is currently under investigation, and authorities plan to charge her in court once the inquiry concludes.
