Karen Bujulu Breaks Silence on Juma Jux Breakup: “I Was the One Who Got Cheated On”

Tanzanian model and media personality Karen Bujulu has publicly addressed her past relationship with singer Juma Jux, refuting longstanding rumors that she was unfaithful. In a heartfelt Instagram Story, Bujulu stated, “I didn’t cheat. I was the one who got cheated on. I stayed too long, forgave till I couldn’t anymore… and then I left.”

Bujulu expressed frustration over being subjected to false narratives and online trolling since their breakup. She emphasized that despite her silence, her social media posts were often misinterpreted and linked to her former partner. “I didn’t speak because I didn’t see the need to explain myself online, but somehow, everything I post still gets turned into something about him,” she noted.

Her statement comes shortly after Juma Jux's marriage to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo. The couple's lavish wedding ceremonies in Nigeria and Tanzania garnered significant media attention.

Bujulu concluded her message by asserting her healing and desire to move on: “Let me be clear: I’ve moved on. I’ve healed. I promise you, I don’t want anything or anyone back. I truly wish everyone peace. I just ask to be left out of a chapter I’ve already closed.”

As of now, neither Juma Jux nor Priscilla Ojo has publicly responded to Bujulu's claims.
