Jadon Sancho has officially concluded his loan spell at Chelsea and will return to Manchester United. Chelsea opted not to exercise the £25 million obligation to purchase Sancho permanently, choosing instead to pay a £5 million penalty fee to Manchester United to facilitate his return.

During his season at Stamford Bridge, Sancho made 41 appearances, contributing five goals and ten assists across all competitions. Notably, he scored in Chelsea's 4–1 victory over Real Betis in the UEFA Conference League final. However, despite these contributions, Chelsea and Sancho could not reach an agreement on personal terms for a permanent transfer, leading to the decision to pay the penalty fee.

Sancho expressed his gratitude toward Chelsea in a farewell message, thanking the club's staff, teammates, and fans for their support during his time at the club.

With his return to Manchester United, Sancho's future remains uncertain. The club, under new management, is reportedly open to offers for the winger, and potential destinations include a return to Borussia Dortmund, a move to the Saudi Pro League, or a transfer to another Premier League club.
