Adura, the younger brother of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has fired back at popular social media activist VeryDarkMan over recent comments concerning Mohbad’s death and the justice movement. In a viral video posted on social media, Adura called out VeryDarkMan, saying he had no business discussing Mohbad if not for the tragedy that brought him relevance.

According to Adura, many individuals, including influencers like VeryDarkMan, have used his brother’s death to gain public attention and clout. He expressed anger that VeryDarkMan continues to speak on the issue without consulting the family, suggesting the activist was leveraging the tragedy for personal gain. “If no be my brother wey die, you for no get mouth to talk to me,” Adura said.

He went on to insist that the quest for justice must be thorough and unrelenting, stating that it must reach “his doorstep,” a phrase widely believed to be directed at VeryDarkMan and others he feels have interfered insensitively. Adura’s comments have since stirred conversation online, with many calling for a more respectful approach to seeking justice for Mohbad.
