I Have Documents Proving Wike Abused Office in Abuja Land Allocations — Senator Kingibe

Senator Ireti Kingibe has alleged that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, abused his office in multiple land allocation dealings in Abuja. According to her, she is in possession of documents that prove irregularities, including a situation where Wike allegedly influenced the reduction of a ₦200 million statutory bill for his son to just ₦2 million.

Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja, the senator stated that the documents she has will be submitted to the appropriate authorities for thorough investigation. She accused Wike of using his ministerial position for personal and political gain, especially in manipulating land allocations to favour select individuals. Kingibe emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in the FCT, warning that impunity would not be tolerated.
