HE IS ALIVE
Welcome to the KOKO of our FAITH. Jesus is ALIVE. Because He lives we can face TOMORROW.
Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of our Christian faith.
For there would be no christianity without the TOMB being empty, which again is the essence of our FAITH.
When Mary Magdalene visited Jesus' tomb on the first day of the week ( in this case on a Sunday) she found that the stone covering the tomb had been removed.
She believed that the body of Christ had been taken away, so she informed Peter and John, who confirmed her discovery.
Though they saw and believed, they were shocked and confused, not fully understood the scripture that He must rise again from the dead, for death and the GRAVE had no power over HIM.
The truth is, the stone was removed by Jesus' Resurrection Power and nothing else.
May that same Jesus' Resurrection Power lift away our existential burdens and set us free from all spiritual and physical encumbrances.
May God's mercy and grace abound in our lives from now to ETERNITY.
Your ETERNITY is secured in heaven because He paid the ultimate PRIZE. He took our death, our shame, our reproach and our hopelessness.
