First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Honored with Chieftaincy Title in Enugu State

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been honored with a prestigious chieftaincy title in Enugu State. She was conferred with the title “Ugosimba 1 of Enugu,” which translates to “Jewel of Women Empowerment,” in recognition of her contributions to the advancement of women and youth across the country.
The traditional ceremony was attended by top government officials, cultural leaders, and community members who celebrated the First Lady’s role in championing education, healthcare, and entrepreneurial initiatives for women. The event also highlighted her impact through national programs focused on social welfare and gender inclusion.
Speaking at the event, Oluremi Tinubu expressed gratitude to the people of Enugu for the honor and reaffirmed her commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups, especially in underserved communities. She emphasized that the recognition would serve as further motivation to deepen her advocacy work.
