Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo, popularly known as Nino B, has reacted to a bizarre petition he received from a woman who accused him of defrauding her. The actor explained that the woman had allegedly fallen victim to an impersonator who scammed her by pretending to be him. According to Nino B, the lady has since been sending him threat emails, blaming him for the fraud.

Sharing the petition online, the actor clarified that he has never collected N33 million from any film role, let alone from individuals. He stressed that even Nollywood producers who made him popular do not pay such amounts, making the woman’s claim both unrealistic and unfounded. Nino B also lamented the rising cases of impersonation of celebrities, which often leads to innocent victims holding the real stars responsible for crimes they know nothing about.

What do you think — should stricter laws be enforced against celebrity impersonators, or should fans bear more responsibility in verifying who they interact with online? Share your views below.
