Nollywood actress Judy Austin, the wife of actor Yul Edochie, has taken legal action by filing defamation lawsuits demanding over ₦2 billion in total damages against her ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, and veteran actress Rita Edochie. Taking to her Instagram page, the actress shared copies of the court documents filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. In the suits, Judy Austin is demanding ₦1 billion in damages from her ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, over statements he made during recent media appearances—including his interview on The Honest Bunch podcast—where he alleged infidelity during their marriage. Simultaneously, she filed a separate ₦1 billion defamation suit against veteran actress Rita Edochie over alleged persistent defamatory remarks and social media posts targeted at her character.
