Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has publicly criticized the Okoye brothers—Peter, Paul, and Jude—accusing them of actions that she claims undermined her career and made her appear weak.
In a series of social media posts, Morgan alleged that the brothers mistreated those around them, including their longtime driver, Stanley, who, according to her, was left with almost nothing after over a decade of service. She also questioned the whereabouts of other individuals associated with the Okoyes, such as Papi J and Wande, suggesting a pattern of neglect. Morgan expressed regret for not speaking out earlier, stating she had been too young and focused on her career at the time.
The conflict escalated when Peter Okoye reminded Morgan of a contract he had offered her, which she declined, allegedly due to negative perceptions influenced by his brothers. Peter expressed disappointment over her rejection and encouraged her to persevere, emphasizing that his decision to separate from his brothers was for his personal freedom.
Paul Okoye also distanced himself from Morgan, stating during an Instagram Live session that she was never his artist but rather managed by their elder brother, Jude. He wished her well, prompting Morgan to respond by accusing him of owing her for a feature she did for him and his then-girlfriend in 2016.
These exchanges have reignited discussions about the internal dynamics of the Okoye family and their professional relationships, with Morgan's revelations shedding light on her experiences and grievances.
