Barcelona Complete Rashford Deal with Salary Agreement and Future Buy Option

Barcelona have finalised all the paperwork for the loan deal of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, with the player expected to arrive in Spain shortly. The agreement includes a €14 million gross salary coverage by Barcelona, in addition to bonuses tied to Rashford’s appearances during his time at the club.

As part of the deal, Rashford has agreed to a 15% pay cut to facilitate the move, while Manchester United will not contribute to his salary throughout the loan period. This gesture reportedly helped accelerate the negotiations between both clubs.

The agreement also includes a €30 million buy option, which Barcelona can activate in June 2026 if they wish to make the move permanent. Rashford is expected to undergo medicals and join pre-season training as early as next week.
