 Tinubu for Second Term

At the weekend’s Lagos APC women’s annual summit themed “Arise, Aspire, Ascend,” thousands of women leaders, youths, and stakeholders declared their unanimous support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid for 2027.

Represented by Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the summit urged women to move from peripheral roles to forefront positions in leadership. Attendees were challenged to mobilize youths and first-time voters—"If 4,000 of us each bring 20 people to register, that’s 80,000 new voices for democracy," noted the governor’s wife.

Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, praised Tinubu’s commitment to women’s and youth empowerment, noting the landmark rollout of ₦2.5 billion for SMEs and ₦2 billion for women in agriculture as part of his Renewed Hope Social Impact Programme.
