2027: Governor Adeleke, Osun PDP Endorse President Tinubu’s Re-election Bid

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second term ambition ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The endorsement came during a stakeholders' meeting held in Osogbo on Tuesday, where party leaders expressed satisfaction with Tinubu’s handling of national affairs and praised his inclusive governance style.

Speaking at the gathering, Governor Adeleke commended President Tinubu for his developmental strides and efforts to stabilize the economy, saying that the President had shown genuine commitment to national unity and progress. He noted that the endorsement was not a betrayal of party ideals but a reflection of the new political reality where national interest must come first.

Leaders of the Osun PDP also aligned with the governor’s position, stressing that their support for Tinubu was based on performance and not party lines. According to them, politics should be about delivery and not blind loyalty. They urged PDP members across the state to rally behind the President’s re-election bid for continuity and stability.
